CodeSpells
A first-person sandbox in which you play a wizard who creates magic with code. It grew out of a research project at UC San Diego on teaching programming through play.
How you code
You write spells as programs that act on the world, for example to lift objects, fly, make fire or shape the ground, then cast them. You can write them as code or assemble them from visual blocks, so beginners can start with blocks and move on to text.
